Two teen brothers are currently in custody after the boys’ 13-year-old sister identified them as the attackers who murdered her parents and other siblings last Wednesday night.
According to NBC News, the suspects are 18-year-old Robert Bever and his 16-year-old brother, who stand accused of killing parents David and April Bever, in addition to their three younger siblings, who were between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.
Though the 13-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times, she was able to tell Broken Arrow, Okla., police that “her brothers was [sic] responsible for attacking her and her family.”
Late Wednesday night, someone called 911 to say the family was being attacked, but then the line went silent.

The caller has yet to be identified, but investigators believe it to be one of the deceased children — either 7-year-old Christopher or his 12-year-old brother, Daniel.
Officers arrived at the home around 11:30 pm, discovered the bodies of David, April, Christopher, Daniel, and 5-year-old Victoria, and heard the faint cries of the stabbed victim, who is now in stable condition at a local hospital.
A 2-year-old girl was also found inside the residence, but she wasn’t harmed. She’s currently in protective custody.
According to booking papers, the eldest Bever son is being held on five counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
As for Robert’s younger brother, whose name has not been released, police say they will seek to have the teen tried as an adult.
Though no motive has been given for the killings, detectives believe several weapons—including a small hatchet and various knives—were used in the tragic family massacre.
